Huda Beauty is reinventing nude with her fourth eyeshadow palette release. The New Nude Palette features a balance of cool and warm tones to complement the best of both worlds. The palette contains 18 shades in 5 formulas in a line-up of hues that have been created to be simple to use. The New Nude Palette will also be the first to come with a full-size mirror. Mascara is one of my absolute favourite makeup products. No makeup look is ever complete without a few coats of black mascara. Too Faced have a new addition to their Melted line. Melted Matte-Tallic's are a matte liquid lip with a brushed metal finish. In 13 shades these have a range of hues from vampy deep teal and plum to soft pink, champagne and classic red. The metallic finish has been designed to add a dimension to the lips with a luxurious plush wear. I have 3 shades here to share with you today which are perfect for the upcoming change in season. Too Faced Melted Matte-Tallic Swatches (top to bottom) Faking It, I Dare You and I Wanna Rock With You Melted Matte-Tallics come in a plastic tube with rose gold screw cap which locks down securely with a click. These are very easy to apply. Thanks to the angled, slim doe-foot it precisely hugs the contours of the lips for accurate application. The finish is a beautiful metallic which dries down completely within a few seconds and is transfer proof just like a regular matte liquid lipstick. Even though it lasts for hours and doesn't budge it's comfortable to wear. Sometimes you can find deeper liquid lip shades to be patchy and need a few coats to perfect. However, even the deep burgundy and violet shades are very consistent and pigmented which is a fab surprise. All the shades I have tried have intense colour pay off. If you're looking for something different to the usual flat matte finish liquid lipstick these are a perfect alternative. They will look fab for the upcoming festive party season. At the beginning of this year Makeup Revolution launched their viral Conceal & Define Concealer. With notable beauty gurus and beauty editors as fans, it's unquestionably been a hit. The Sun reports that a tube of the concealer is sold every 5 seconds! With all this, it totally makes sense for Makeup Revolution to launch a Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation. So far, it's release has made headlines in beauty columns and excitement has reached fever pitch. Alongside this launch, they have also released a supersize version of the concealer which contains almost triple the amount of product - but I'll talk more about this in another post. Revolution Conceal & Define Foundation is available in 24 shades to match their existing concealer shades. I have been trying this out and I am really excited to share my thoughts and even have a before and after photo :). The foundation itself applies very nicely and blends within seconds. The giant doe-foot wand applicator dispenses a little product at a time which really helps as a little goes a long way. Although the foundation is described as full-coverage I would say this is more of a medium buildable coverage. It is very adaptable and can be sheered down or built up to your desired level. Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation Doe-Foot Applicator I've recently been boycotting primer under my makeup and opting for a light moisturiser instead (I'm loving Revolution Skincare Hydrating Boost Gel). The foundation went on smoothly covering my blemishes, evening skin tone and blurring pores. It did not cling to any dry patches or enhance any fine lines. It has a lovely natural matte finish, which I do feel it's more on the matte side. It's not at all drying though. You can see the result in my before and after picture below: Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation Before & After I paired the foundation with Revolution's Fast Base Concealer in shade 0.5 as I do love a bright undereye and they work well together. The foundation is very lightweight and comfortable on the skin. I have an oily combination skin type and it gives you a good 8 hours wear before you need to touch up or blot. It does wear very well and doesn't come away in patches or slide off the face! I have the Conceal & Define Foundation here in shades F4 and F5: Makeup Revolution Conceal & Define Full Coverage Foundation Swatches top F4, bottom F5 I do find that other foundations emphasise my large pores however this has a blurring effect and really restores my confidence in the way my skin looks - which is absolutely priceless. Overall, I am a huge fan of Revolutions Conceal & Define foundation. For £9 it is largely accessible to everyone and would certainly recommend giving it a go. It's even better that you never need to sharpen it - just twist to reveal more product. It has a nicely tapered tip so application is very precise. The lipstick applies smoothly and is very light weight on the lips - you forget you have it on. It is a velvety matte finish which is in no way drying or uncomfortable. Don't let the name 'blush' make you assume this is sheer. This does add a very decent amount of colour and pigment onto the lips - which I found a pleasant surprise. One swipe is all that's needed. If you are looking for a very soft flush of colour you could add a little product to the centre of the lips and blend out with a finger. I have shades 200 Flushing Mauve and 300 Powdery Coral here: Make Up For Ever Lip Blush shades top: 200 and bottom: 300 My personal favourite shade is 200 and I've worn it almost every day since I got it.
