MAC Cosmetics are certainly on a roll this year. I think we may have seen more products and capsule collections than ever before!
A few weeks back we saw the release of the MAC Hyper Real Glow Collection which introduced two new highlighter palettes. As soon as I saw these on social media I knew I had to make at least one of them mine.
I managed to pick up Flash + Awe which is the more pinky, rose gold-toned palette. I have this here to share with you today.

As soon as you touch these powders you realise they really were serious when they say these are soft powders. It sounds so cliche to say they are buttery soft, but it's the ONLY way to describe them. The formula is super smooth almost like a powder creme hybrid. The finish is ultra blinding, so not for those who are after only natural illumination.
My pick of the shades from the palette is 'Flash+Awe' which is a subtle shade of ballerina pink. I also love 'Rosy Glow' as a blush topper. 'Light of the Party' is too dark for me to use as a highlighter on my fair skin tone but still useable on the eyes.
In my opinion, the MAC Hyper Real Glow palettes really are a must-have for any highlighter fans out there.
