If I could only choose a few products to take with me to a desert island mascara would have to be one of them. No makeup look is complete without a few coats of black mascara.
Buxom have just released a new product the Big Tease Plumping Mascara. I have never yet had the chance to try out any of Buxom's products so I thought this would be a great place to start. I've been trying this out over the past couple of weeks so I have the low-down to share with you today.

I think this mascara certainly gives a plumped and lengthening effect. The mascara is very easy to apply and I think the conical-shaped brush and short wand really aids this. I do feel like I catch every single lash which really creates volume. The shade of the mascara is a very deep black, which I love. However, I wouldn't say it has a glossy finish. The mascara lasts all day and into the evening should you wish.

For me, I do feel that after a couple of coats it does begin to make my lashes look clumpy. I think this is due to its plumping and volumising effect, so just be aware.
Overall, I'm really enjoying using the new Buxom Big Tease Plumping Mascara. If volumising and plumping for the lashes is something that is a priority for you when picking a mascara I think you'll be a fan! My favourite thing about the mascara is the brush. It's perfectly shaped to catch all the lashes. The narrower end is ideal for the baby lashes towards the inner and outer corners of the eye.
